This is funny, and sad. This morning, my son was keen on having me set his new Ben 10 watch. He gave me the watch to set and what he thought were the directions, but what was actually the 20 page thick Newsletter for Congregation Beth Elohim.
This was adorably conspicuous cluelessness.
I don't often really register how clueless kids can be. How clueless everyone is in the most profound ways. To be aware of this makes my heart feel so tender. If I could always feel this way I'd be a much more useful person. Is this what Pema Chodron means by the heart of Bodhichitta?
