Amazing how it looks when one of the gold and yellow trees standing in front of a large red brick building starts to turn red at the top so that the tree seems to dissolve effervescently into the brick behind it. This tree stands in front of the armory on 8th and 14th, another with an even more dramatic effect in front of Holy Name. Stunning when approached from the North. I know, it is a mercurial joy, but....you've got to savor what you can.
