Corner of Smith and 9th
From the 3 blocks of cement piled in front of this door I would guess that no one has entered that way for a while.

A scene from GOODFELLAS was filmed right around here -- when Lorraine Bracco visits Robert DeNiro to hand over some info on Ray Liotta's trial, andDeNiro offers Bracco some free (stolen) designer dresses, but then she gets the creeps and hurries off in her volvo...
Hey Brooklyn Beat,
Good to know, I'll have to look for that, I want to see what has changed. Maybe Line Bagels was still F Line bagels back then, or maybe it didn't exist yet. They were ordered to stop using the F in their logo, by the city perhaps. They had to redesign their menu, now it shows a blank orange circle- the F conspicuously absent - with the word line under it. It's fascinating. By the way, the people who work there are really nice.
I am pretty sure that that was pre-pre-Smith Street gentrification..I don't recall what was on that corner before it became Bagelized......
thanks
