Enzo's Pizzaria on PPW Finally Open
I noticed that the lettering on the Enzo's sign had been painted a very dark green and that a sign indicated they were open. It was snowing when I went in and it was very very cozy in there, smelling of the wood burning in the brickoven. By the door a large photograph of a man hung on the wall and I figured that must be Enzo, but still, having a very big mouth, I had to ask. Who is that, I asked. WHO? One friendly man got a little excited because he wanted to answer me but didn't speak English that well. He started to go into the back to get someone but a blonde waitress came forward holding the forest green business card in her hand. She said it's kind of a joke, and then I saw in gold writing on the card "If You Didn't Know Him Don't Ask." Well, I had already asked, so now I know that the man in the portrait is Enzo, the owner's deceased uncle. It's a very big portrait, you know, and everyone one is going to want to know who he is and what he was like. I think, anyway. And everyone one is going to hear "If You Didn't Know Him Don't Ask." And then they're going to smell the good smells of that place and possibly forget they ever wanted to know.

I'm just curious about what took them so long to open.
I thought it was never going to open. I hope it will have been worth all the suspense.
Service was absolutely terrible. Each of them seemed to have never worked a day in a restaurant before. They had plenty of people on the floor, but we couldn't even get our water glasses refilled. Food was good, so I recommend take-out only.
Maybe the service will improve as they work out their kinks.
Took them long enough. They've repainted that sign about 5 times. Was it worth the price?
Belated comment: The pizza I had there (2 times so far) was well worth it! Yes, the service was a bit botched up but to be expected at a brand new place. I hope it sticks around. Looks like they've been quite busy so far!
I went to Enzo's today and the least favorite part of my meal was... the pizza! I agree with other posters, the service was average at best... my brother had some veggies in garlic and it was very good.. my appetizer was the rice balls and they were AMAZING. Highly recommended. The pizza... well, it LOOKED perfect. It smelled great. The weight and texture was just right, but it lacked a lot of flavor. It just didn't hit me with "wow this is friggin' great!" It should have been, it looks like the best pizza ever, but the final taste just didn't stand out as unforgettable. But everything else was!
