Revisiting the School Cafeteria
The privilege of voting includes regressive elements, for instance, finding oneself back in the school cafeteria, and then entering the voting booth which is sort of like reentering the womb, aided by a few neighborhood volunteers. Well, it's the womb of democracy anyway, a cloister that protects our right to be who we are and think how we think.
Womb. That word is a little intimate. Sorry if it made anyone uncomfortable. Nevertheless, every fruit you eat is the ovary of a plant, and hopefully you are able to eat 4 to 13 servings per day. I hope you enjoyed that public service message, I for one needed it. All I eat is bread and cheese.
