In Mexico they use blue lettering to spell ice instead of red. There's logic in that I suppose, blue is a cooler color, but it took me some time to get used to it. The snow on the letter appears to be melting.
I hope people got to enjoy the snow here yesterday. I don't know why we didn't go out, too tired from traveling I suppose. By the time we were ready it had started sleeting. I heard they were serving free hot chocolate to sledders in Prospect Park at 9th Street. Did that really happen? It sounds so charitable and festive.
