What's Shakin', Slope-Heights Meditation?

Here's what's shakin' at the new location of Park Slope Meditation, Now called Slope-Heights Meditation, at 235 St. Marks Avenue (Just off Vanderbilt Ave.) I post this information with great pleasure because what I absorbed from Matthew Reichers' classes improved my view of the world so much. He doesn't wear eyeliner like Johnny Depp but he's still pretty cool. I suppose I can forgive him since what comes out of his mouth is so rich in humor, wisdom and compassion. I'm still awaiting that direct experience of emptiness and bliss that comprises nirvana. Any day now...I suppose taking the time to meditate would help.

A Guide for Beginners

With Matthew Riechers

By contemplating Buddha's profound teachings on the ultimate nature of reality, emptiness, we recognize the dream like nature of reality, and our mind becomes joyful, flexible and creative.

During this course, we will examine the special method for
realizing emptiness known as meditation on emptiness in four essential points. This will help to lead us to a practical understanding of this often misunderstood and sometimes intimidating topic. There will be time for questions, discussion and plenty of meditation, so if you have a wish to understand this profound key to Buddha's teachings, this is the course for you!

Everyone is welcome.
