Time Musheen

I think it's true, there are no straight lines in Brooklyn. There's plenty of tangles, scrolls, webs and knots, solid hand-hewn cornerstones, straight enough. Did you know that at one point the artist Mondrian wanted all the trees removed from city streets because he found them insufficiently square? What was the matter with him, can I ask?

I'm not sure how old my son's school is, all I know is that to me it's pure gravy that it wasn't built in the last 60(?) years, or else it would be all too straight for me. I'm so spoiled by that beautiful pinkish and orange brick edifice known as PS 107. Thank you, thank you, taxpayers.
