and called it macroroni

















Sophie was enthusiastic enough about the Baked Macaroni from the Joy of Cooking to suggest I blog about it, which caused a warming trend in quarters of my heart unfamiliar with such culinary encomium. It's usually the meconium I get for my efforts.

As for the photograph, I'm not sure the entree makes the most delicious close range subject, perhaps I should have taken time for more involved styling. Photoshop has yet to develop a deliciousness brush, something all the playdough sculpting food stylistas should be grateful for.
