I'm so sorry to hear that Robert Guskind of the Gowanus Lounge died yesterday. I know I speak for many in saying that his hard work and love of the Borough, his kindness towards the vulnerable, his dry sense of humour, his outrage about the kind of crap people call buildings, his habit of recognizing unsafe conditions and dangerous building practices, his support for the blogging community and his appreciation for beauty and whimsy were very precious to Brooklyn. Who could ever take the big man's place?
More here. This blogger bears a pall.
