Ephemeroptera

Fast clocks! As adults, they live from a few day to a few hours.

Beautiful. A haiku, as opposed to the epic of the rocks. 614 species of these ephemeral things in North America north of Mexico.

614, all gracious enough to be premium sushi for fish. Or so I presume based on the looks of those flyfishing lures.
