Lake Water Poisoned?

Some have expressed concern that the swan John Boy Walton and other water birds died of poisoning. Eugene Patron of the Prospect Park Alliance kindly tells me that the Department of Environmental Protection came by earlier today to gather samples of lake water as well as a sample from a hydrant. The DEP expects the results will be fine. Hopefully we'll hear more tomorrow.
