Red-Tailed Hawk
The audience of three observing her feast didn't seem to put her off too much but we didn't stay long. Through the binoculars the lump between her feet resembled a pigeon.

Your town's park has hawks. Your place looks like so wildness.
Prospect Park is amazing. There's at least two Red-Tail nests, one in a field where you can see it well enough to watch the parents feeding their babies. I think this hawk here was a junvenile.
I want to go to Prospect Park next year. I saw the map. this park is large.
