5th Avenue Honor System
As fragile as a bubble about to pop, it's amazing this place on 5th Avenue still exists. It's a kind of beauty, I think, that's a little scary.

sometimes the guy sits out there.
Hey. This is a lovely post, haunting somehow, and I'm glad you don't give the address on 5th Avenue. Both to protect the guy who sits out there and to protect its status as a mysterious old-timey place that might only exist in our heads.
Oh, and I really look forward to seeing what you'll read/show & tell at the March 9 Brooklyn Blogade.
I agree: beautiful/scary. Buy anything?
Maybe he'll be out there again when it gets warm.
Hi Joyce, thanks for noticing I left the address out, that was deliberate, and maybe it does only exist in our minds.
I look forward to enjoying your reading selection at the blogade & thanks for organizing it. I'm always kind of excited to go to Kensington.
Hi Vanessa. I'm thinking about getting the mailbox. I wonder if it has the keys? But I think I'd have trouble installing it anywhere.
