Art & Stoop Sale, Brooklyn Pride Events

My neighbor is having a stoop sale and selling some of his fine drawings this weekend. Below is his email. Ain't it sweet?

My wife and I are having a stoop sale at 16 Prospect Park South West on Saturday. The highlight of the sale will be the many dozens of large original classic figure drawings I'm selling for very little.

They're mine and I don't have the room for them unfortunately.

Other items include clothes, baby baths, baby seats, picture frames of
all sizes (include ones that will fit the above drawings…), etc.

We are making cookies.

So drop by before, during, or after the Brooklyn Pride parade. Even if
you just come for the cookies.

I hope they get decent baking weather. By the way, there's also going to be a Reeve St. group stoop sale on the 2 blocks between Prospect Ave and Prospect Park South West today.

Here's the Brooklyn Pride events for June 14, in case you'd like to coordinate these Windsor Terrace events:

June 14th
Pride Day 08

Prospect Park at Bartel-Pritchard Circle
15th Street and Prospect Park West

10K Run (9:00 AM)

A fun charity sporting event held each year in the morning of Pride for the LGBT community and friends in a festive, healthy and inclusive environment. Fifty percent of the proceeds from the event benefit one local organization.

Multicultural Festival (11:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

It’s more than your usual street fair featuring stage performance, family zone, shopping and great food. Most importantly, it provides opportunities for the community to come learn about community organizations, issues and businesses.

Kid Space (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Kids come join the fun at Brooklyn Pride with your own space! We will have sing a song, puppet making workshops, story time, bookmaking and much much more!

Night Pride Parade (8:30 PM Kick Off)

Come join the fun with the one and only Night Time Parade in the Northeast
A celebration of our Pride and Heritage.
Parade Route: 15th Street to 7th Avenue Right on 7th Avenue down to Lincoln Place.

Official After Pride Party

I wish I weren't going to miss all the fun. Got an invitation to use someone's beach house near Fire Island for the weekend, and it's an offer we can't refuse.

Drawing by Giuseppe Castellano, one of the one's for sale on Saturday.
