Gluttony Gluttons
Work was unrewarding today and I felt really empty. I had many difficult problems to solve in photographing mirrored furniture. Well, what should I expect when I start contemplating the concept of gluttony, like I did shortly before arriving at the Monday night Buddhist talk given by Matthew Reichers, which didn't mention gluttony, but referenced the idea of attachment frequently to say the least. It is now clear to me that when you turn over the gluttony stone you find a wretched pit of emptiness. I believe I've been sufficiently reminded of the depth of emptiness and desperation it takes to cause people to trample a man to death in hot pursuit of an HDTV or whatever.
I feel as empty as a beached whale. What makes me feel better is daydreaming about the freezing cold ocean, the miracle of the sun, and the word Aurora.

Photographing mirrored furniture? Isn't that what photoshop is for later?
And now VE needs your support. Proceed immediately to his blog. His Tue Dec 2nd post has the details. The gnomes will be expecting you...
I hear you. The trampling left me very shaken as well, though my inclination was to think it is a form of crazed desperation. The third world has arrived at our shores. And is manifested in desperation for HDTVs. In the third world this desperation is for food. Sad, sad, sad. And maybe only the beginning, this breakdown.
