Parrots on 15th Street

I saw these for the first time yesterday. Now I'm a believer. Before that I thought this Brooklyn Parrot thing was a well orchestrated hoax. This one appears to oggle the abundant mystery berries.

Not sure exactly where this was on 15th Street, but you're probably getting a individual from Greenwood Cemetery. I see them several times a year in my backyard, and many more times flying overhead.

This parrot was on the North side of 15th between 7th and 6th. He had at least 2 pals with him.

They probably were foragers from Greenwood Cemetery, then!

You can see some of my photos of them on my Flickr site.

I saw them on Ocean Parkway last week and before that in JJ Byrnes Park. They really get around.

The first year I lived in WT I used to see a bunch of these parrots hanging out in the trees along 10th Ave.
