Harvest Moon and Milk

Yesterday I read that the word exuberance derives from Latin for "from the udder." This is amusing because, having watched babies nurse, you can see they struggle to retain their hold when the milk comes down strongly, their eyes bulge and infants will sometimes lose their grip and get milk sprayed in their faces. But then often, the flow, the hunger and the grip are the perfect match. It seems a good fit for a word that can mean either the extreme of joyousness or just. too. much.
